Hey! I’m your teacher and coach, Sara Brigz.
I help people simplify their cluttered homes, confront the emotions holding them back, and live a life they’re excited about. But I wasn’t always a declutter coach. In fact, only a few years ago...
► I had a walk-in closet that was so jam-packed with dressers and clothes and shoes that I literally couldn’t walk into it
► I owned hundreds of books, countless knick-knacks and souvenirs, and an endless supply of “just in case” crap
► There were piles of clutter in eeeeverywhere
► I lost things all the time, got so frustrated with cleaning, and felt totally stuck
Decluttering definitely didn’t come easy for me. And if I'm being honest, the first few months were absolute shit.
I would try to declutter, but not get very far – and then I started putting it off altogether, because I kept hitting a wall.
That’s when I started researching the psychology of attachment, and how it impacts our relationship with our stuff. Specifically, how our underlying beliefs shape our actions, and our actions determine our results.
It was a lightbulb moment for me – and a total gamechanger for my decluttering. Over the course of the next year, despite being majorly sentimental and anxious, I was able to let go of 75% of my stuff.
Now I want to help you let go of yours!
